ABOUT DAVID

David McNutt is an experienced authoritative business professional and educator in management, business strategy, and company performance.

He has years of experience in running a business, managing business functions, and advising clients on strategic business challenges.  He has held management positions in large multinational corporations and small partnerships.  As an entrepreneur he has set up, led, and sold several companies.  In 2010 he founded Navigate Management Consulting, a business and management education consultancy.  In 2017 he returned to his original consulting firm of The McNutt Group.

His professional educator career began as an Assistant Professor at Columbia College Chicago.  He now teaches at the Ziklin School of Business at Baruch college in New York.

David has consulted with over 30 companies and industry organizations assisting clients in deciding next steps and creating education and training programs.

David holds a Master’s in Telecommunication from Indiana University and an MBA from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago.

In 2023 David launched the Management To Be Determined podcast.
